We are offering Yoga @ The Physio Rooms at our Hove clinic inside Pavilion & Avenue Tennis Club, 19 The Droveway, Hove, BN3 6LF.
Classes are run by our experienced teacher Lynn Wardill.
Yoga is a philosophy of life, which also has the potential to create a vibrantly healthy body and mind.
ASHTANGA YOGA practiced in its correct sequential order, gradually leads the practitioner to rediscover his or her fullest potential on all levels of human consciousness – physical, psychological and spiritual. Through this practice of correct breathing (Ujjayi Pranayama), postures (asanas), and gazing point (driste), we gain control of the senses and a deep awareness of ourselves. By maintaining this discipline with regularity and devotion, one acquires steadiness of body and mind.
Today, the term hatha is used in such a broad way that it is difficult to know what a particular hatha class will be like. In most cases, however, it will be relatively gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style where they hold poses longer.
Class times (starting 2 March 2017):
- Thursdays 12.30pm – 1.30pm (Ashtanga)
- Thursdays 1.30pm – 2.30pm (Hatha)
Classes are 60 minutes long and a 10 week course.

- £100 for a block booking of 10
