Mike graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapist in 2010 at Brighton University.
Previous to this he studied a 4-year degree course in Sports Rehabilitation and had his own practice in Ireland for 5 Years.
His areas of interest include general musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as sporting injuries and rehabilitation. Mike is a keen sportsman who plays varies different sports such as racquetball, tennis, swimming, cycling and golf. He played racquetball for Ireland at World and European championships and later travelled to the 2010 World Championships as their number one Physio. His involvement in a range of sports has given him a great understanding of the nature of different injuries and the sport specific rehabilitation required to achieve optimal results. Mike has carried out numerous postgraduate physiotherapy qualifications including additional courses on biomechanical analysis, orthotic prescription and gait analysis and is continuing to update his knowledge on a regular basis. As well as working at the clinic Mike is Physio to Brighton rugby club and Whitehawk F.C.
