Do I need a doctor's referral before treatment?

If you are a privately paying patient, a doctor's referral is not necessary to book an appointment.
If you are claiming through your health insurance, some insurance companies require a referral in order to reimburse the Physiotherapy fees; we advise that you contact your insurance company prior to commencing treatment.

What are the Fees for treatment sessions?

Initial Consultations range from £55-£65 (45 minutes)
Follow up treatments range from £45-£50 (30 minutes)

How much notice is required if I need to cancel my appointment?

Cancellations should be made directly with your Physiotherapist; failing that, please contact The Physio Rooms Head Office on 0870 446 0575.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation - there will be a charge for less than 24 hours notice.

What should I wear?

You will be required to undress to a suitable level to allow the Physiotherapist to access the injured area. If you have a back or lower limb problem you therefore may wish to bring additional (appropriate) clothing to wear, such as shorts.
